Sarah Louise Heath Palin was born February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Sarah Palin is a distinguished American politician, commentator, and author. She was the Republican Party nominee to run for Vice President in the 2008 Presidential election, and the first Republican woman nominated to run for this Vice President position. As keynote speaker, Sarah Palin recently delivered the "Conservative Speech of the Century" at the 2012 CPAC. At the inaugural National Tea Party Convention, Sarah Palin also served as the keynote speaker. The Tea Party foundation is based on government spending reduction, opposition to over-taxation, reduction of the national debt, and adherence to the United States Constitution. During the 2010 mid-term elections, Sarah Palin played a major role in the election of several key Tea Party candidates and has described the Tea Party movement as "The Future of Politics in America." Sarah Palin has authored Going Rogue: An American Life (detailing her private and political career) and America by Heart (containing excerpts from favorite speeches, sermons, and literature). Both books have been quite successful for her and have sold several millions of copies each. Since January 2010, she has provided political commentary for Fox News. Her television series, Sarah Palin's Alaska, has been very popular and had over five million viewers watch the first episode alone! In July of 2011, a documentary about her political career, "The Undefeated", was released. This movie is available on cable pay-per-view and and in DVD at Amazon and Wal-mart. Palin has toured parts of the USA in the "One Nation" Bus (pictured below) promoting the guiding principles of our Constitution and original dreams espoused by our country's Founding Fathers.
